The Capital Market Authority (CMA) has approved the offering, registration and listing of the units of “Al Mashaer REIT” on the market as a publicly traded real estate investment fund, following an application submitted by “Muscat Financial Company”.

The terms and conditions were published on the fund manager's website and the CMA's website, and the CMA warned that the decision to invest without reading the terms and conditions and studying their content may involve high risks, Therefore, the investor should read the terms and conditions, which contain detailed information about the fund's objectives, strategy and risk factors, and study them carefully to be able to assess the feasibility of investing in the fund or not in light of the associated risks, and if the contents of the terms and conditions cannot be understood, it is preferable to consult a licensed financial advisor.

It is noteworthy that the investment objective of ETFs is to invest in structurally developed real estate, capable of generating periodic and rental income, and ETFs allow all categories of investors to buy and sell fund units in the same way shares are traded in the financial market, according to the instructions for ETFs announced by the Capital Market Authority by the end of October 2016.
