<In order to support the Kingdom's development plans, Riyad Bank is participating in the Asbar International Forum 2017 with a gold sponsorship, in order to activate the role of creative and innovative discussions for the knowledge economy. The forum, which will be held from 14 to 16 November this year, aims to attract a group of the world's leading experts in addition to the participation of international companies, reflecting the Kingdom's position as a global economic center. The Bank will participate with a working paper focused on financing and investing in innovation under the title “Enabling Innovation Systems”. On this occasion, Mohammed Abdulaziz Al-Rabeah, Executive Vice President and General Supervisor of Community Service Programs at Riyad Bank, said that Riyad Bank seeks to strengthen its role as an active partner for forums and activities that deal with innovation and creativity in the context of supporting the economic reform process and economic transformation plans towards a knowledge-based economy. He pointed out that the gold sponsorship came as a fruit of the success of the Asbar International Forum in its first edition (2016), and the strategic and knowledge objectives it achieved at the local and international levels, and the alignment of the visions and objectives of Riyad Bank with the Asbar International Forum 2017.

It is worth mentioning that the Aspar International Forum is an annual developmental forum that aims at the necessity of a comprehensive and rapid transformation towards a knowledge society and economy in the Kingdom, to help frame innovation and generate discussions that result in policies, initiatives and outputs on which development strategies are built, and to raise awareness of the importance of activating and employing ICTs to reduce the costs of economic activities in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
