Initiatives by the Ministry of Labor Have Led to 121,766 Young Men and Women Entering the Labor Market

The initiatives launched by the Ministry of Labor and Social Development last September have resulted in 121,766 young men and women entering the labor market, Khalid Abaalkheil, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Labor and Social Development, confirmed that the initiatives launched by the ministry have contributed to improving and developing the labor market, empowering Saudi men and women, and increasing their participation in suitable, decent, and productive work environments.

The initiatives launched by the ministry include: the “Supporting Saudization Growth in Establishments” program, ”Regulation of Remote Work,” ”Regulation of Self-Employment,” and the “Saudization in Regions” program, in addition to the “Correcting Activities” campaign, the ”Launch and Development of the Nitaqat Program,” and the ”Part-Time Work Program.”

The Ministry’s official spokesperson noted that the number of Saudis entering the labor market reached 28,154 in September, while in October the number rose to 48,471 young men and women, In November, the number stood at 36,062 Saudi men and women, while as of the middle of this month, the number has reached 12,280 young men and women.
