The Real Estate Development Fund announced that it has approved a list of 1,158 citizens from various regions of the Kingdom, representing the 18th and 19th batches of deceased borrowers whose applications were submitted through the online program and whose families have completed the required information, confirming the completion of procedures to fully repay their loans, which totaled more than 243 million riyals.
The Fund’s Director General, Engineer Yusuf Al-Zaghibi, explained that this comes in accordance with the order of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to exempt the deceased from Real Estate Development Fund loans, noting that this batch included applicants up to application number (85791).
He noted that coordination had taken place with branches of the Ministry of Justice to facilitate the procedures for applicants in this regard, and that the heirs of the deceased whose names appear in these batches may visit the notary public office responsible for the mortgaged property to complete the mortgage release procedures as soon as possible, in order to clear their deceased relatives’ debts and release their properties.
