The results of the study are the latest barometer of current regional cloud computing trends, drawing on the opinions of 250 senior executives and business owners from the GCC and Egypt.

<Half of respondents are currently using a cloud provider (45 percent), but as awareness and adoption levels rise, the benefits and advantages of multi-cloud environments are rapidly gaining ground. Twenty percent are currently using two to six cloud providers, and three percent are using seven to 10 cloud providers. Google is the most popular vendor among users (43 percent), followed by Microsoft (25 percent), while 23 percent of respondents use other unidentified global vendors.
