No need to review or visit. Riyadh Chamber invites its subscribers to activate electronic accounts through the “My Business” portal”

The Riyadh Chamber has called on its members to activate their businesses« online accounts through the »Amaly« portal, without needing to visit the Chamber in person, to complete the activation process, which allows them to conduct their business transactions electronically, including the document certification service.

Ahmed Al-Suwailem, Secretary General of the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce, explained that this measure comes after the Chamber completed the implementation of the online activation service through an agreement signed with the technology company »Alam,« which enables members to activate their accounts without having to visit the Chamber. Al-Suwailem called on all members to keep pace with this qualitative leap in the level of electronic services that have been developed, as part of the Chamber’s strategy aimed at upgrading its services, keeping pace with modern technological developments, and transitioning toward an electronic Chamber, as a better alternative to paper-based transactions, thereby facilitating the completion of services through the easiest, fastest, and most secure means, saving members time and effort. The Riyadh Chamber recently announced that it has suspended the certification of paper documents with a number of government agencies and institutions following the completion of the coordination process to accept members» electronic documents as a first transitional phase toward establishing electronic connectivity with them, and to expand the scope of member services and facilitate electronic interactions with government agencies, in support of the objectives of the Private Sector Business Improvement Committee “Taysir,” chaired by His Excellency the Minister of Commerce and Investment. The Chamber clarified that the acceptance of paper documents submitted to the Passport Authority, the Traffic Department, the Communications and Information Technology Commission, the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization, and the Ports Authority, effective March 18, 2018, and that interactions are now limited to electronic documents only.
