The Supreme Real Estate Authority Launches Its Website and Twitter Account and Presents Its 2018 Programs

The General Real Estate Authority launched its website (www.rega.gov.sa),  as well as its official Twitter account (@REGA_KSA), to serve as a channel for communication with those interested in the real estate sector, during his chairing of the Authority’s second Board of Directors meeting.

This took place during a meeting of the Authority’s Board of Directors chaired by His Excellency Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, Minister of Housing and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Real Estate Authority. The meeting’s agenda included a presentation on the Authority’s achievements in the first quarter of 2018 and a documentary film about them, The Board also reviewed the real estate activities targeted for 2018, and was briefed on the Authority’s efforts to develop the rules and regulations governing these activities in implementation of the Authority’s strategy and vision, which aims to make the Kingdom’s real estate sector dynamic, attractive, and characterized by trust and innovation.

The meeting was attended by His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Talal bin Badr, Advisor to His Excellency the Minister of Housing and General Supervisor of the Ministry of Housing’s Agency for Housing Support and Branches, His Excellency the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Governor of the General Real Estate Authority, Essam bin Hamad Al-Mubarak; the Deputy Minister of Energy, Industry, and Mineral Resources for Electricity Affairs, Dr. Saleh bin Hussein Al-Awaji; the Deputy Minister of Finance for Revenue, Engineer Tariq bin Abdullah Al-Shehib; Abdullah bin Adnan Al-Suleimi, Assistant Undersecretary for Real Estate Registration at the Ministry of Justice; and Engineer Muhammad bin Abdulaziz Al-Waili, Director General of the Engineering Department at the Ministry of Commerce and Investment.
