
The Dubai Land Department announced that it has been selected to host the FIAPSI World Conference, which will take place over six days from April 27 to May 2, This comes as part of its strategy to engage with diverse audiences through participation in leading local and international forums.
Regarding its participation in the Dubai International Government Achievements Exhibition 2018, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai – “may God protect him”—which took place from April 9 to 11 at the Dubai World Trade Center—His Excellency Sultan Butti bin Majran, Director General of the Department, explained that such events help us highlight our leading role in our sector, and our focus on aligning with the directives of our wise leadership to achieve excellence in all the services we provide to our clients through the development of innovative solutions.”
The Department focused its efforts on a range of outstanding smart applications it has developed to serve the emirate’s real estate sector, most notably the Dubai Brokers app, which targets a broad range of users, including real estate companies, investors, and real estate brokers. The app provides accurate and up-to-date information on licensed brokers
The Department also showcased the “My Project” smart app, which is one of the key innovative solutions designed to foster collaboration and transparency while leveraging advanced technologies, automation, integration, and analytics for the real estate market in the Emirate of Dubai. The app serves as a smart mobile platform for the government, real estate developers, investors, and other real estate service providers to exchange real-time information on the progress of real estate projects in Dubai.
The Rental Dispute Resolution Center, which serves as the Department’s judicial arm, participated in the exhibition as it represents an integrated e-justice system specializing in the management and tracking of rental disputes—from online registration, verification, and payment, to archiving, allowing all parties involved to access all relevant documents whenever necessary. The Center is designed to automate all procedures, including scheduling hearings, drafting judgments, applying electronic signatures for various approvals, and tracking dispute cases at all stages—from conciliation proceedings through first-instance cases, appeals, and objections, all the way to enforcement.
