The Fourth Gulf-Moroccan Investment Forum will be held on November 28 and 29, 2014 in Casablanca, with the participation of economic bodies, commercial and investment institutions, Gulf, Moroccan and international experts, academics and researchers, under the patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, King of the Kingdom of Morocco.

This forum comes under the slogan “Moroccan-Gulf Strategic Partnership”. <The forum, which is organized under the slogan "Moroccan-Gulf Strategic Partnership. Casablanca's gateway to Africa" is the culmination of the successful royal tour in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, which resulted in a tangible activation of the strategic partnership between the two sides, which is expected to move forward to broader horizons. In addition to the reciprocal visits between His Majesty King Mohammed VI and the leaders of the GCC countries, which reflect the success of the royal vision to deepen joint cooperation and expand its fields to include all vital sectors and to establish an economic partnership between the two sides.

The forum also comes after the successful royal tour in the GCC countries, which resulted in a tangible activation of the strategic partnership between the two sides. The forum follows the success of the third edition held under the patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI from May 6 to 8, 2013 in Tangier, in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, the Moroccan Ministry of Industry, Trade, Investment and Digital Economy, the Tangier Governorate, the Tangier City Council, the Moroccan Investment Development Agency, the Moroccan Export Corporation, the Federation of Moroccan Chambers and the General Federation of Moroccan Businesses.

<The forum, organized by the Federation of GCC Chambers and the Arab Gulf Media and Communication Agency in cooperation with the Moroccan government, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and Moroccan and Gulf governmental and private economic and financial institutions, aims to discuss investment prospects in the Kingdom of Morocco and activate joint projects between the two sides, in addition to presenting the economic and financial reforms undertaken by Morocco to attract foreign investment in general and the Gulf in particular, in addition to presenting government plans in the fields of digital economy, industry, agriculture, fishing, renewable energies and others, and presenting economic qualifications and <500 economic decision-makers, members of the diplomatic corps, representatives of Gulf and Moroccan companies, experts, academics, and businessmen from the United States, Mediterranean countries, China, India, Russia, Brazil, and Africa are expected to participate in the forum. The forum's program will include an opening session with speeches by the Moroccan government, the Gulf Cooperation Council, the Federation of GCC Chambers, in addition to an international seminar on the Gulf-Moroccan partnership in Africa, with the participation of representatives of the Moroccan government and Moroccan, Gulf and African experts.

The forum's program will include an opening session. <The evening session will include a workshop on investment in the financial and banking sector, another workshop on investment in the renewable energy sector, and a third workshop on investment in the agricultural sector and food security. Strategic projects in Morocco and their financing will be addressed. <The second day's program includes a workshop on investment in education and health, a workshop for Moroccan and Gulf businesswomen, and another on investment in environmentally friendly sectors. The forum program will conclude with a special workshop on Moroccan-Gulf cooperation in the field of innovation, scientific research, training and qualification of human resources in line with the vision of Moroccan King Mohammed VI to give importance to non-financial resources as a lever for development. The forum will be accompanied by a trade fair for Gulf and Moroccan companies to enable participating companies to showcase their latest projects and products in order to motivate businessmen and investors to increase their investments in both sides.
