<The Minister of Commerce and Investment and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, reviewed the most prominent features of the “Intellectual Property” strategy, and focused on eight important axes in the work of the strategy: preparing the national strategy for intellectual property and following up its implementation, updating intellectual property systems and their executive regulations, providing intellectual property products and services with efficiency and high quality, raising awareness of intellectual property rights, in addition to guiding the intellectual property system in the Kingdom, providing intellectual property information and promoting its use, and cooperating with enforcement agencies In a meeting attended by members of the Authority's Board of Directors, Al-Qasabi emphasized the importance of the Authority's role in enhancing the innovation environment and stimulating creative and innovative entrepreneurs, in addition to the contribution of preserving intellectual property rights in developing the SME sector and improving the business and investment environment in the Kingdom, which contributes to attracting foreign investments, stressing that the Kingdom should be a leading global model in protecting intellectual property rights to achieve the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

Al-Qasabi emphasized the importance of the Authority's role in enhancing the innovation environment and stimulating creative and innovative entrepreneurs.
