Next month, the capital city of Riyadh will host the first forum and exhibition of its kind in the Kingdom on thermal insulation in buildings, with the aim of highlighting the efforts and initiatives carried out by the Saudi Energy Efficiency Program in recent months, as part of a coordinated government initiative aimed at enforcing thermal insulation requirements for residential buildings in 23 major cities across the Kingdom as a first phase, paving the way for its implementation in all cities nationwide at a later date.
The forum and exhibition will be held over two days at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center, under the patronage of and in the presence of Prince Dr. Mansour bin Mutaib, Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs, as well as Minister of Water and Electricity Engineer Abdullah Al-Hussain, Minister of Housing Dr. Shuwaish Al-Duwaihi, and Minister of Commerce and Industry Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah.
