Riyadh has completed its preparations to host the Innovative Cities Summit, which will kick off on September 23, to discuss the electronic transformation of the modern city system that bets on the digital revolution in all areas of services provided such as education and health, in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which aims to transform into a fully smart system, helping to provide ideal and affordable housing.

The concept of smart cities is concerned with making radical changes to improve the quality of life through various measures such as adequate water and electricity supply, waste management system, smart traffic system, public transport and e-government.
