The Supply Chain and Logistics Conference will host more than 30 international and local speakers during its events on October 15-16, 2018
At the Four Seasons Hotel in Riyadh. The conference will present a number of working papers and research papers that address global best practices and their application to supply chain operations and logistics services, in addition to important topics in developing innovative concepts for shipping and warehousing, and developing customs and port procedures.
On this occasion, Minister of Transport Dr. Nabil bin Mohammed Al Amoudi, patron of the conference, stressed that this event is an important opportunity to exchange visions, ideas and experiences on the best ways and latest practices to improve the performance of supply chains, raise their efficiency and develop the logistics sector, in order to achieve the Kingdom's Vision 2030 in making the Kingdom a global logistics center based mainly on transportation in its various sectors with the participation of a number of government agencies.
The General Supervisor of the conference presented a number of government agencies. Turki bin Abdullah Al-Tuaimi, General Supervisor of the conference, invited all those interested in the logistics sector to participate and register to attend the conference, stressing that this annual event organized by the Ministry of Transport will shed light on the most prominent results of the recommendations of the conference from its first session, in addition to addressing a number of vital topics that are challenging and impacting the economy and development movement in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Turki bin Abdullah Al-Tuaimi, General Supervisor of the conference, added that the conference is organized by the Ministry of Transport. <Al-Tuaimi added: The conference will review the achievements and plans of the sectors concerned with logistics services that will serve the business sector and keep pace with the continuous modernization witnessed by the logistics sector as one of the most promising economic sectors that will enhance economic income sources and attract more investments.
