The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, issued a appointing Ihsan bin Abbas bin Hamza Bafqih as Governor of the General Authority for State Real Estate with the rank of Excellence. The royal decree states:

We, Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud
King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Having reviewed the Basic Law of Governance, issued by Royal Decree No. (A/90) dated 27/8/1412 AH.
And having reviewed the Regulations Governing Ministers, Deputy Ministers, and Senior Officials, issued by Royal Decree No. (M/10) dated March 18, 1391 AH.
Having reviewed the organizational regulations of the General Authority for State Real Estate, issued by Cabinet Decision No. (621) dated 12/24/1439 AH.
And having reviewed Royal Order No. (A/14) dated 3/3/1414 AH.
We hereby order the following:
First: Mr. Ihsan bin Abbas bin Hamza Bafqih is hereby appointed Governor of the General Authority for State Real Estate at the highest rank.
Second: This decree shall be communicated to the relevant authorities for approval and implementation.

The Council of Ministers had previously approved the transformation of the “State Property Authority” “ into a general authority named the ”General Authority for State Real Estate" and on its organizational arrangements, based on a recommendation submitted by the Council of Economic Affairs and Development.
Establishment of the General Authority for Exhibitions and Conferences
The decisions included the establishment of the General Authority for Exhibitions and Conferences and the appointment of Dr. Majid Al-Qasabi as chairman of its board of directors.
