On behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, Riyadh Governor Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz yesterday (Tuesday) inaugurated the Riyadh Economic Forum in its ninth session.
During the ceremony, the Emir of Riyadh delivered a speech during which he conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince to the businessmen and the organizers of the forum.
Addressing the businessmen, he said: «The Crown Prince appreciates your important role in the country's economy and considers it one of the pillars of the economy drawn by the state.» He pointed out that businessmen are the ones who draw these steps and set the lines for them in their specific locations, stressing that the businessman is today the first responsible for the economy and the important element in moving development in the country and responsible to make its image before the world bright and moving towards great and sound goals.
Prince Faisal bin Bandar explained that when the country needs someone to stand with it and look for thought, direction and sound opinion, it turns to the businessman who worked and diligence and became a key pillar of development, wishing the forum success and success and to be a prominent sign in the map of the Saudi economy. He added: »We are proud to be students of King Salman bin Abdulaziz and to follow his footsteps in Riyadh and the Kingdom in general, and I am here on his behalf at the opening of this forum, which we are proud and proud of what he has provided over 18 years and continues to give, achieve and innovate."
He added.
For his part, Riyadh Chamber Chairman Ajlan Al-Ajlan stressed that the Riyadh Economic Forum, through its successive sessions, is an event awaited by specialists and interested parties, because it represents a scientific methodology in addressing the issues and topics it raises, through its importance and accurate and scientific study, and not only study and results, but also provides recommendations, initiatives and mechanisms to address these issues, and submit them to the Supreme Council. The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chamber added that the forum in its current session worked to keep pace with the important reforms and transformations witnessed by the Kingdom.
