Under the patronage of Housing Minister Majid Al-Hogail, the sessions of the «Prospects and Future of the Real Estate Sector in the Kingdom» conference will kick off on Tuesday, December 29, 2020, and will last for two days through the virtual network, with the participation of many experts, specialists and those interested in real estate.
The conference, organized by the General Authority for Real Estate, aims to provide a platform for scientific and practical discussion between experts, developers, real estate service providers and beneficiaries, promote integration between the competent and relevant authorities, present legislative and regulatory developments, and anticipate the prospects and future of the real estate sector in the Kingdom.

Participants in the first session of the first day will discuss the governance of the real estate sector and real estate systems, which includes the topics of the role of the General Authority for Real Estate and the General Authority for State Properties in the governance and development of the real estate sector, achieving the economic and social objectives of issuing regulations to serve the sector and its customers, the draft state real estate system, the draft system of expropriation for public benefit and temporary placement of hands, the real estate contributions project, the draft system of in-kind registration, the draft sale and rental system on the map, the real estate contributions, sorting and management system.
In the second session, participants will discuss raising the effectiveness of the real estate market, real estate auctions controls, electronic marketing standards, real estate advertising controls, and accreditation standards for real estate experts.
The third session of the second day of the conference addresses the opportunities and sustainability of the real estate sector (housing inventory initiative, deed digitization initiative), real estate database "geospatial", employing technology in the real estate sector, sustainability of buildings, real estate indicators platform and real estate market transparency, sustainability of real estate assets and properties.

In the fourth session, the Saudi Real Estate Institute from empowerment to leadership, reviewing the topics of education in the real estate sector, the role of the Saudi Real Estate Institute in building the capabilities of workers in the real estate sector through training, qualification and employment, real estate research and studies centers and the think tank.
