The Ministry of Health announced that it had administered more than 24 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine as of yesterday, Friday.
The Ministry of Health said in a tweet on its official Twitter account that these vaccines were administered at more than 587 vaccination sites across all regions of the Kingdom.
It noted that individuals can register to receive the vaccine through the "Sehati" app via the link: onelink.to/yjc3nj.
The Ministry of Health confirmed that appointments are currently available for the 12–18 age group in all regions of the Kingdom to receive the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, as part of its ongoing efforts to prevent infection and protect the community from complications caused by the virus.
In the same context, the Ministry of Health announced new statistics on the latest COVID-19 developments in the Kingdom over the past 24 hours, which included 1,256 confirmed cases and 1,155 recoveries, while the number of active cases stood at 10,829, of which 1,385 were in critical condition.
The statistics showed that the total number of cases in the Kingdom reached 516,949, with 497,965 recoveries, As for deaths, 14 were recorded, bringing the total number of deaths in the Kingdom to 8,155. “May God have mercy on them all.”
New statistics on the latest COVID-19 developments in the Kingdom over the past 24 hours were announced, showing 1,247 confirmed cases and 1,160 recoveries, while the number of active cases stood at (10,742), of which (1,383) were in critical condition.
The Ministry of Health recommended continuing to follow precautionary measures after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine, such as wearing a mask and maintaining a safe distance, noting that while the vaccine significantly reduces the risk of infection, it does not prevent it entirely, especially since the pandemic is still ongoing.
The statistics showed that the total number of cases in the Kingdom reached (515,693), with (496,810) recoveries. Regarding deaths, (11) were recorded, bringing the total number of deaths in the Kingdom 8,141—may God have mercy on them all. The Ministry advised everyone to contact the 937 hotline for round-the-clock consultations and inquiries, to access health information and services, and to stay informed about the latest developments regarding the coronavirus.
