The Governor of the General Real Estate Authority held a meeting with the Director of the General Administration of Financial Investigations under the State Security Presidency at the Authority’s headquarters, during which they discussed areas of cooperation between the Authority and the Presidency (Financial Investigations) to achieve the comprehensive strategic objectives for the real estate sector approved by the Council of Ministers, as well as the plan to implement the regulations, controls, and standards issued by the Authority to govern the sector, ensuring the integrity and fairness of real estate transactions and brokerage, addressing real estate contributions, expediting their liquidation, and restoring rights to their rightful owners.
Officials at the Presidency were briefed on the comprehensive strategy for the real estate sector, its pillars, and the initiatives, priorities, and regulations it contains that contribute to the governance of the real estate sector and enhance its performance, maintain its sustainability, and achieve the goal of enhancing the effectiveness of the Kingdom’s real estate market and improving the quality of service for all partners and stakeholders within their respective areas of expertise.
The Financial Investigations delegation also gave a presentation on its areas of responsibility and the ongoing development of its operations, in an effort to achieve the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 in creating a secure environment for financial transactions in the Kingdom, including those related to the real estate sector.
