Roshen, the national real estate developer for residential areas and a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund, announced that it has signed an agreement to sponsor the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Professional Cup League. This follows its agreement with the Saudi Professional League to serve as the main sponsor for the 2021–2022 season, which is set to kick off on August 11.

Roshen’s interest in sponsoring the Saudi League stems from its commitment to giving Saudi fans the opportunity to elevate the Saudi League and contribute to improving the quality of life for the community.

The sponsorship agreement was signed by Mr. Sabah Barakat, Chief Operating Officer of Roshen Group, and Engineer Abdulaziz Al-Afaleq, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Professional League, in the presence of a number of senior officials from both parties.

For his part, Mr. David Grover, CEO of Roshen Group, emphasized the importance of this agreement, stating: “We are delighted to sponsor the Saudi Professional League. In turn, Engineer Abdulaziz Al-Afaleq, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Professional League, expressed his delight at the new partnership, saying: ”Our goal from day one has been to forge high-quality partnerships. We recognize the value of partnerships and their role in enhancing the market value of a league that is considered the best and most-watched in the region, which is why our relationship with Roshen today holds special significance."
