The project aims to create an integrated environment in historic Jeddah with multiple natural assets, including 5 km of developed waterfronts, green spaces and open parks covering 15% of the total area of Jeddah Al Balad and within the 2.5 square kilometers of the project area. The “Revitalizing Historic Jeddah” project represents a key aspect of the efforts of the Historic Jeddah Development Program to invest the history, cultural and urban elements in the region and turn them into economic tributaries that contribute to the growth of GDP and achieve the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, and reflects part of the Kingdom's orientation towards achieving sustainable development in all Saudi regions and cities through environmentally friendly urban development projects that provide natural incubators for creative production and attractive places to live and work, contributing to economic growth.
