The index of major Saudi stocks closed today, down 45.24 points to close at 11270.57 points, with trades worth 4.9 billion riyals.
The number of shares traded amounted to more than 140 million shares shared by more than 230 thousand transactions, in which the shares of 54 companies recorded an increase in value, while 134 companies closed down.
Andalus, Sipchem International, Union Gulf Al-Ahliya, United Insurance and Saudi Reinstatement were the most expensive shares, while National Education, Eastern Development, Al Hokair, Al Ahli Takaful and Fish were the most traded, with the percentage of increase and decrease ranged between 6.80% and 1.
The shares of Saudi Kayan, Andalusia, Dar Al Arkan, Industrialization and Emaar were the most active in quantity, and the shares of Tabuk Agriculture, Saudi Kayan, Sipchem International, Al Rajhi and SABIC were the most active in value.
The index of Saudi parallel stocks (Nomu) closed today, down 34.38 points to close at 25139.36 points, and trades worth 58 million riyals, and the number of shares traded was more than 390 thousand shares shared by 2260 transactions.
