More than 200,000 cubic meters of construction waste removed in Tabuk

The Tabuk Regional Secretariat and its affiliated municipalities continue their efforts to address visual pollution in various cities and governorates across the region. Since the launch of the initiative and campaign “Addressing Visual Disturbances,” specialized teams have removed more than 215,996 cubic meters of construction and demolition waste and excavation debris from vacant lots, In addition, 1,368 damaged and abandoned vehicles have been towed from various locations, and 16,340 square meters of graffiti that detracted from the public appearance have been removed.
The visual landscape improvement efforts included the maintenance of 6,053 trash containers in various cities across the region, the repair of 14,413 square meters of dilapidated sidewalks, and the maintenance of 6,494 streetlights, as well as painting more than 62,300 linear meters of curbs, sidewalks, and crosswalk markings.
