Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Engineer Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al Rajhi issued a decision to localize (11) activities in Al Baha region, as part of the regional localization program implemented in the region in partnership with the Emirate of Al Baha region and within the ministry's plans to provide more stimulating and productive job opportunities for the sons and daughters of the nation and raise their participation rate in the labor market.
The decision included the localization of outlets selling: Ready-made clothes, household furniture, household utensils, carpets of all kinds, books and stationery, toys and bicycles, electrical appliances, plastics, soaps and detergents, water and beverages, fruits, vegetables and dates, gifts and crafts at 100%, (except for the excluded professions of cleaning, loading and unloading, and drivers); the decision also included the localization of cafes at 50%, and restaurants at 40%.

The decision will come into effect from 11/06/1443 AH corresponding to 14/01/2022 AD.
The ministry issued a procedural guide explaining the details of the decision and the necessary mechanisms for its implementation to ensure the commitment of establishments, and the ministry will also provide packages of incentives and support related to supporting private sector establishments in employing Saudis.
The decision will come into effect from 11/06/1443 AH corresponding to 14/01/2022 AD.
