The nationalization rate in the private sector during the third quarter of this year (2021) rose to 23.59%, an increase of 0.96% from the previous quarter, and the number of Saudi workers during the same period increased by about 60 thousand employees, according to the National Labor Observatory.

The National Labor Observatory explained that the number of Saudi participants in the private sector, according to data from the General Organization for Social Insurance, reached 1,826,875 participants in the third quarter of this year, an increase of 3.41%, including 65.06% males and 34.94% females.

The growing rates of localization rates during the third quarter come as a result of Human Resources Development Fund's efforts to develop and improve support and empowerment programs and initiatives for the national workforce, as it contributed to supporting the employment of more than 200 thousand young men and women to work in private sector enterprises since the beginning of this year until the end of the third quarter.
