 (96) strategic goals in the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, built on the leadership of the Kingdom and its citizens

Here we are commemorating the seventh anniversary of the accession of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz—may God preserve him— for the seventh time. This anniversary marks the day the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques assumed the reins of power over the country, a day on which we renew our pledge, loyalty, love, and sense of belonging to this generous nation and its wise leadership, and through which we express our loyalty to our rulers and offer, on this cherished occasion, our warmest congratulations and blessings.

We cannot possibly enumerate the achievements of the past seven years of tireless work, day and night, in a single article or even several articles; yet it is clear to any fair-minded person the magnitude of the achievements realized during this brief period under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his trusted Crown Prince, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, We have witnessed numerous economic, administrative, and regulatory reforms, during which many massive development projects were implemented, strengthening the Kingdom’s international economic standing. During this time, the Kingdom led the G20 and became a global hub for one-of-a-kind projects and transcontinental companies competing to enter the Saudi market.

Perhaps what we have witnessed in the recent period since the start of achieving the goals of the Kingdom’s ambitious Vision 2030 is practical evidence of the strides made under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, may God preserve him, as the Kingdom has taken a leading global role in addressing the global COVID-19 crisis through a package of government economic and medical support, enabling it to overcome many of the severe consequences and losses caused by the pandemic—both human and economic—and was among the first countries in the world to provide vaccinesand were approved by the World Health Organization for both citizens and residents, This was accompanied by significant leaps in technological advancement and digital transformation, which were harnessed to ensure the continuity of education and the delivery of numerous government services through electronic applications in accordance with the highest security standards, exceeding expectations and achieving global leadership.

The Kingdom’s ambitious Saudi Vision 2030, with its 96 goals, is built upon the primary objective of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, who said—may God preserve him— “My first goal is for our country to be a successful and leading model in the world, and I will work with you to achieve that” Through this plan, the Kingdom has allocated a budget exceeding trillions to complete its comprehensive journey toward sustainable development—economic, social, and humanitarian—for the nation and its citizens. This will soon be realized, God willing, thanks to the unlimited support of the leadership and through the implementation of professional management that employs a strategic approach to achieve the overarching goals set for the ambitious Vision 2030.
