The Ministry of Finance is organizing the 2022 Budget Forum today, with the participation of a number of ministers and officials, to shed light on next year’s budget, which was approved by the Council of Ministers at its session yesterday, Sunday, chaired by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz—may God preserve him.

The forum, which runs on December 13 and 14, consists of five sessions. During the first session, speakers will include Mohammed Al-Jadaan, Minister of Finance; Yasser Al-Rumayyan, Governor of the Public Investment Fund; and and Mohammed Al-Tuwaijri, Head of the National Transformation Program. The second session will address transformation and development in services, with speakers including Majid Al-Hogail, Minister of Municipal, Rural Affairs, and Housing, Fahd Al-Jalajel, Minister of Health, and Hamad Al-Sheikh, Minister of Education. The third session will address opportunities for private sector growth, with speakers Khalid Al-Falih, Minister of Investment; Abdullah Al-Swaha, Minister of Communications and Information Technology; and Saleh Al-Jasser, Minister of Transportation; In the fourth session (“Future Prospects”), to be held on Tuesday, December 14, speakers will include His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Minister of Sports, Ahmed Al-Khatib, Minister of Tourism; and Bandar Al-Khorayef, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources. The fifth session is dedicated to energy and will feature a presentation by His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, Minister of Energy.
