Amlak - WAM – All necessary preparations and arrangements have been completed for the launch of Future of Real Estate Forum, which will be held from February 22 to 24, 2022, in Riyadh, under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Municipal, Rural Affairs, and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, and featuring a distinguished lineup of speakers, professionals, and experts from the real estate sector, as well as business leaders and investors from both inside and outside the Kingdom, in addition to the participation of several local and international agencies and organizations.
Global Representation at the Forum
The three-day forum, which hosts a number of ministers, ambassadors, Their Excellencies, and heads of major projects, is the Kingdom’s largest platform focused on the future of real estate development, and the trends toward localizing high-quality projects across the real estate sector, with a focus on modern construction and housing technologies, in accordance with mechanisms that support the government’s efforts to increase homeownership rates among Saudi families, and ensuring that the real estate sector makes a significant and effective contribution to GDP. The forum also aims to help enhance the performance of the real estate sector, as it seeks to become a global intellectual and scientific platform for discussing the sector’s current state and future, as well as to exchange experiences and information and discuss challenges and best practices to develop this vital and important sector.
Roshen Announces Its Participation
In addition, Roshen, the national real estate developer for residential areas—a subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund—announced its participation in the Future of Real Estate Forum, as it aligns with the company’s objectives and the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, thereby becoming the forum’s sustainability partner, and the real estate exhibition to be held on the sidelines of the forum, with the participation of a number of relevant local, regional, and international real estate entities and organizations.
National Housing Company: Strategic Partner
In this context, National Housing Corporation (NHC) announced its participation in the Future of Real Estate Forum, as a strategic partner of the forum. Its participation stems from its strategy aimed at supporting and promoting various local real estate events and activities that contribute to the development of the real estate sector, in line with the core pillars of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
10 Themes at the Forum
The forum’s ten themes, which will be discussed by participants, cover various aspects of the Kingdom’s real estate sector, particularly those related to regulatory, and legislative aspects of the real estate sector, the future of urban development, smart cities and sustainability, real estate investment, quality, real estate development, construction technologies, artificial intelligence, and real estate financing solutions.
Meanwhile, the forum’s workshops address various topics related to the present and future of real estate, most notably: (financing for small and medium-sized enterprises, real estate auctions, real estate arbitration mechanisms, marketing, real estate appraisal, real estate digitization, as well as Saudization and its challenges.
It is worth noting that the Future of Real Estate Forum serves as an opportunity to discuss all matters related to the real estate sector in the Kingdom, particularly in the areas of regulations and legislation, their impact on the real estate sector, and how they are influenced by flexibility and dynamism. The forum also provides an opportunity to review the results of in-depth studies on the real estate sector, and figures related to demand for rentals and home ownership, as well as the sources of this demand both domestically and internationally.
