Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority has set April 30 as the deadline for business taxpayers subject to VAT to submit their tax returns for last March and the first quarter of 2022.

The Authority urged business taxpayers to submit their tax returns via the website (zatca.gov.sa), or submit them and pay via the Authority's smart phone application (ZATCA), to avoid the penalty for failing to submit the return within the specified period, at a minimum of 5% and a maximum of 25% of the tax value that the taxpayer should have declared.
