The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has urged shareholders in «Al-Basateen Land» in Qatif Province to update their information and submit their documents. The Real Estate Contributions Committee has asked shareholders to submit their documents to the nearest branch of the National Arab Bank in various cities across the Kingdom, in preparation for the transfer of their entitlements as soon as possible. A few days ago, the Real Estate Contribution Committee successfully concluded its public auction for the sale of the Al-Basateen contribution land in the Eastern Province. The auction was awarded for a total value of 121 million riyals, and the decision to accept the final auction price was made by the appointed sales committee, which decided to award the sale after bidding on the land stopped at 242 riyals per square meter; this paves the way for liquidating the investment and achieving the desired return for shareholders who have been affected by the investment’s stagnation for more than 13 years.
