The Ministry of Municipal, Rural Affairs, and Housing announced the release of more than 5,000 investment opportunities across the Kingdom’s cities during the first half of 2022, as part of ongoing efforts to develop investments, enhance urban sustainability, and diversify economic activity in these cities.

The investment opportunities offered by municipal secretariats, municipalities, and relevant authorities included 1,810 commercial activities, 328 industrial activities, 72 social activities, 34 environmental activities, 29 educational activities, 198 sports and recreational activities, 52 agricultural and livestock activities, 101 tourism activities, 38 health activities, 15 in construction and real estate management, 152 in public services, 118 in finance, 245 in vehicles, 88 in transportation, 15 in maintenance, repair, and installation, 40 public utility activities, and 2 clothing and textile activities, in addition to offering more than 1,700 diverse sites for temporary activities.
