Yesterday, the Royal Commission for Ras Al-Khair Mining Industries signed an agreement with a national company worth 1.18 billion riyals to allocate industrial land in Ras Al-Khair Industrial City.

The agreement, signed by the CEO of the Royal Commission for Ras Al-Khair, Engineer Ahmed Hassan, aims to establish and operate a copper smelting and casting plant covering an area of 250,000 square meters with an annual production capacity of 155,000 metric tons and to create 1,070 direct jobs upon commencement of commercial operations.
It is worth noting that Ras Al-Khair City for Mining Industries is home to numerous factories that require copper casting for their operations, in addition to the spare parts sector, which relies on the copper industry.
