The (100)
Abdullah Al-Jabran
We celebrate the (92nd) anniversary of the founding and unification of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of its founder, His Majesty King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud, may God have mercy on him, who established for us a nation we are proud of everywhere and at all times, And with each passing year, we feel that we live in the strongest and best nation in history. Naturally, the government’s love for the people and the people’s love for the government is, in and of itself, a source of strength, stability, security, and pride for the nation through this mutual love.
The 100th National Day will come one day, and we will commemorate it, God willing, eight years from today. The question here is: What will our situation be like on that day? Naturally, the government aspires for the people to be far better off than they are now in many respects. For this to be realized—and for our celebration of the 100th anniversary of our National Day to be exceptional in every way—our future plans must be clear and promising, and we must move forward rapidly. There are high hopes that by our 100th National Day, the rate of Saudization will increase and the unemployment rate will decrease, that housing projects will be available to everyone who requests them, and that no one will have to rely on the "Hafiz" program or similar initiatives while waiting for their benefits, given the availability of suitable job opportunities for our sons and daughters.
We must not view the celebration of National Day this year—or in the years to come—merely as waving flags, singing anthems, and taking to the streets; nor should it be viewed as a day off to be spent however we please; celebrating National Day is a call to appreciate the greatness, strength, and magnitude of what we have achieved since our founding, and it is also a launching point for a future in which we will achieve what we were unable to achieve in the past, In conclusion, we, as a people, take pride in our country and our leaders, and we pledge our loyalty and obedience to them. I ask God to make our country safe, secure, generous, and prosperous, and all Muslim countries as well, O Lord of the Worlds.
