Saudi National Day is a national day unlike any other day and unlike those of other nations, a day of friendship, brotherhood, and peace; a day of belonging for the people of this nation; a day when love, loyalty, pride, and honor for our wise leadership and rulers are renewed; a day for our homeland, our land, and our home—which we will never compromise on and for which we would sacrifice our blood and our lives.
We praise Allah for the blessing of security and safety He has bestowed upon us in this bountiful homeland—a homeland on the land of the Two Holy Mosques, home to the Noble Kaaba in the Sacred Mosque and the Mosque of the Prophet, peace be upon him, a homeland sought out by Muslims from every corner of the earth—a homeland unlike any other, the homeland of Islam, the place where revelation descended, the homeland of generosity, and the homeland of humanity.
A homeland built, founded, and united by His Majesty King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud (may Allah have mercy on him), who brought them together, united their voices, and earned the trust and loyalty of his people after they had been embroiled in conflict and war; he brought them closer together, guaranteed their rights, and ensured justice among them in accordance with the truth and Islamic law, and his sons followed in his footsteps after him: King Saud bin Abdulaziz, King Faisal bin Abdulaziz, King Khalid bin Abdulaziz, King Fahd bin Abdulaziz, and King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz (may God have mercy on them all), and in our time, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the King of Resolve and Determination, the King who has added glory to glory and strength to strength. Today, we as a people take pride in the development and progress the Kingdom is witnessing in all areas of the state—political, economic, administrative, and social, and we take pride in the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and its architect, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who has led development and further advanced it, raising the Kingdom’s stature, standing, and strength, and making it one of the most influential nations in the region. As he said, "The Saudis have the spirit of Mount Tuwaiq"—with strength, resilience, and determination.
And here, we take pride in the fact that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is our home.
