The “Saudi Industrial Investment Group” has completed construction work on its “Nylon 6.6” and ”Nylon Compounding“ plants and began operations at both facilities earlier this week.
In a statement on ”Tadawul,” the company said that the plant will go through several phases after it begins operations, including equipment and machinery testing by suppliers, meeting security and safety requirements, and obtaining the necessary quality certifications.
It is worth noting that the Saudi Industrial Investment Group began operating factories (for automotive interior and small parts, and electrical connectors) last December, and began operating factories for cans and lids, as well as medical supplies and equipment, in Jubail in September 2014, as part of the Petrochemical Conversion Company (PCC) project.
