The Kafalah was awarded and recognized as the best SME financier in the SME Finance category for the third time in a row at the SME Finance Forum Awards Ceremony, held by the International Finance Corporation and sponsored by the Central Bank of Cambodia in its fifth edition.

The honor shield was received by Hammam Hashim, General Manager of the SME Finance Guarantee Program "Kafalah".
In his speech, Hammam expressed his gratitude and pride in receiving the honor for the third year in a row, stressing that it would not have come without the confidence of the SME sector in the financing guarantees provided by the program, and the great success achieved by the program through COVID-19 initiatives starting from 2020, and the efforts made in partnership with financing entities in Saudi Arabia that contributed to supporting the sector.

He referred to the launch of the Global SME Finance Awards in 2018, which is now in its fifth year and the program from the beginning of participation and for three consecutive years achieves excellence and deserves to be honored. It embodies effective and successful practices for financiers and stimulates the development of innovative products and services for SME customers that have achieved impressive results in expanding financing and services to SMEs and institutions that undertake these efforts and is organized by the International Finance Corporation.
