The 12th edition of the International Valuation Conference, hosted by the Saudi Commission for Certified Valuers (Taqeem) in Riyadh, in cooperation with the International Valuation Conference Committee (IVC), and held for the first time in the Middle East and the Arab world, concluded today under the patronage of the Minister of Finance and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Commission, Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan.

Mohammed Al-Batti, and the CEO of the Real Estate Development Fund, Mr. Mansour bin Madi.

The speakers also discussed the future of the valuation profession and its best practices, understanding valuation standards and methodologies, highlighting the profession and the promising opportunities it achieves, in addition to reviewing and sharing best local and international practices in the valuation profession.

The opening session of the conference was held under the title “The Impact of Valuation on the Economy” and was attended by Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al-Freih, Senior Advisor to the Minister of Finance and Chairman of the Steering Committee, Governor of the General Authority for State Real Estate Ehsan Bafqeeh, and Governor of the Saudi Central Bank Dr. Fahd bin Abdullah Al Mubarak.

It is noteworthy that the conference is held every two years and is a link between evaluators, regulators, academics and practitioners to discuss important topics and the latest trends in the profession and exchange knowledge among international evaluators. The agenda includes dialogue sessions for specialists in the field of evaluation and heads of evaluation organizations around the world, with the participation of more than 25 speakers from several countries.
