With the participation of 27 representatives from companies across various economic sectors, the Council of Saudi Chambers is organizing a visit by a delegation of Saudi business owners to the Republic of Finland, coinciding with the visit of His Excellency the Minister of Commerce, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, to explore prospects for trade and investment relations between the two countries.
The corporate representatives will meet with their counterparts in the Finnish business sector to discuss opportunities for cooperation between the two sides, and the Saudi-Finnish Business Forum will be held, during which an agreement to establish a joint business council will be signed, along with an agreement with Business Finland to organize joint missions and events and exchange information and expertise in economic fields.
It is worth noting that the volume of trade between the Kingdom and Finland reached approximately 1.9 billion riyals in 2021, of which 37 million riyals were Saudi exports, primarily consisting of plastics and plastic products, Finnish imports, meanwhile, include: wood and wood products, electrical appliances and equipment, machinery and mechanical tools, paper and paperboard, and chemical products.
