His Excellency Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, Minister of Municipal, Rural Affairs, and Housing, received at the Ministry’s headquarters yesterday His Excellency Won-kyu Ryung, Minister of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport of South Korea, and his accompanying delegation at the Ministry’s headquarters yesterday, in the presence of the Ambassador of the Republic of South Korea to the Kingdom, Mr. Park Joon-young, and a number of senior officials from both ministries.
The two sides reviewed the depth of the relationship between the two countries, its historical roots, and its positive impact, particularly regarding urban services and infrastructure, as well as ways to strengthen Saudi-South Korean cooperation in the fields of smart cities and housing, and means to develop the housing sector and meet the growing demand for housing products. They also discussed the implementation of the executive program between the two countries.

During the meeting, Al-Hogail praised the South Korean side’s interest in learning about the Saudi experience in the field of smart cities and housing, expressing his hope that the visit would meet the aspirations of the leaders and the friendly peoples of both countries, in all matters that support the success of both countries across all sectors.

For his part, His Excellency the South Korean Minister of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport expressed his pride in the positive relations between the two friendly countries, wishing for further progress and prosperity in these relations.
