The total corporate investments French companies investing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia amount to more than $15 billion, spread across 70 companies, which have created approximately 30,000 jobs for Saudi citizens.

This was explained by Romain Keraval, Commercial Counselor at the French Embassy in Saudi Arabia, and added on the sidelines of a press conference organized by the French Chamber of Commerce at the embassy’s headquarters in Riyadh that job training is considered part of any contract or project carried out by French companies in Saudi Arabia, where there is cooperation between French universities and their Saudi counterparts, as well as training institutions, to prepare young people for the job market.

He noted that the majority of trade delegations visiting Saudi Arabia succeed in securing a contract within one or two years of their visit. Romain Keraval said:"A French trade delegation is scheduled to visit in four months, and the current visit—which included about 33 French companies—focused on energy and electricity projects, transportation networks, and energy efficiency solutions."

For his part, Éric Gérostel, First Counselor at the French Embassy, noted that the investment climate in Saudi Arabia is stable and attracts many investors and businesspeople, including French nationals. He pointed out that many French companies investing in the country have achieved great success with their investments, noting that bilateral trade has risen by more than ten billion euros
