On Monday afternoon, Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud, Governor of the Al-Qassim Region, inspected the new Buraydah Apartment Housing Project, which comprises 381 residential units, His Highness was briefed on all services and the scope of development in all its forms, accompanied by the Secretary of the Regional Secretariat, the Director of the Ministry of Housing’s Al-Qassim Branch, the Deputy Director of Social Affairs, the Director of Roads, and a number of officials involved in development. His Highness also inaugurated the project to supply the Al-Shaqa Center with desalinated water and listened to an explanation of the current and future network using project maps.
Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal said during his visits to the town of Al-Shaqa, north of Buraydah ”I am deeply committed to this cause, and I was appointed to the Al-Qassim region solely to serve you. God willing, I will do my utmost, and I promise you that all your requests will be addressed, and you will soon see results that will please you.” His Highness emphasized that the visit was intended to address all service shortcomings, which will be rectified, and he announced to the residents the opening of a service center to serve as the nucleus of a future municipality, as well as the opening of a police station and a social development center.
On behalf of the residents, the center’s chairman, Abdulaziz bin Muhammad Al-Qasir, delivered a speech in which he welcomed His Highness the Prince, and reviewed the services provided to the town of Al-Shaqah and the town’s need for additional services, expressing his gratitude to the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, his Crown Prince, the Deputy Crown Prince, and the Governor of Al-Qassim for their care for all parts of the nation. Sheikh Sulaiman Al-Juraish then delivered a speech on behalf of the residents of Al-Shaqa, speaking about the importance of solidarity and praising His Highness the Regional Governor for his attention to the residents’ needs, while presenting a list of requests aimed at developing Al-Shaqa and improving its services. This was followed by a poem recited by Khalid Al-Juraish and a speech by Saleh Al-Rashid, who expressed his delight at the Prince’s visit, praising the leadership’s solidarity with the citizens and its efforts to address their needs.
