«Downtown Saudi Arabia and Ministry of Communications sign MoU to develop digital infrastructure

Downtown Saudi, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund, signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology during the LEAP technical conference held in Riyadh.

The memorandum aims to discuss ways to cooperate in the development and investment of digital infrastructure and telecommunications technologies in the company's projects, which will be developed in 12 cities in the Kingdom, in addition to exploring opportunities for cooperation to encourage investments in digital infrastructure and the activation of telecommunications technologies. The MoU was signed by the two companies, which are wholly owned by the Public Investment Fund. On this occasion, Al-Hamdan said: "Through this partnership with MCIT, Downtown Saudi Arabia aims to cooperate in investment planning for the digital infrastructure of the company's projects, alignment with telecom and data service providers, exploring opportunities to use modern technologies in the field of smart cities and other important aspects of cooperation, which will contribute to enriching the experience of residents, visitors and businesses in the company's projects in 12 cities in the Kingdom."

Downtown Saudi Arabia aims to collaborate with MCIT on investment planning for the digital infrastructure of the company's projects.
