Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing Majid bin Abdullah Al-Haqeel inspected yesterday the most prominent projects being implemented in Jeddah Governorate, during his visit to Jeddah Municipality, during which he met with HE Secretary Saleh bin Ali Al-Turki and witnessed the signing of an agreement in the field of recycling demolition and construction waste.

The Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing met at the beginning of the visit with the leaders and officials of the Municipality, briefed on the budget, organizational structure, human resources and operational model.

The meeting also witnessed a review of the most prominent achievements, targets and projects to be implemented during the coming year, in addition to discussing challenges and ways to address them, after which he listened to a presentation by the Jeddah Development and Urban Development Company on its projects and investment plans.

Haqeel witnessed the signing of the Municipality's budget, organizational structure, human resources and operational model. Al-Haqeel witnessed the signing of an agreement between Sustainability Solutions and Al-Fahad Company, which aims to supply quantities of treated soil resulting from the recycling of demolition, construction and other waste, for use in the project to cover cells 1, 2 and 3 of the Wadi Asla landfill.
