Arabian Automotive Manufacturing Company produces first truck in Economic City

Arabian Automotive & Truck Industries Limited (AVI) will manufacture and produce the first assembled Volvo truck at its truck assembly plant located in the Industrial Valley in King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC).

Designed by a project management team from Volvo and Renault that includes engineers and managers, a new concept has been applied to assemble trucks efficiently and cost-effectively. The KAEC plant was designed by the Volvo and Renault project management team, which includes engineers and managers, and applies a new concept for efficient and cost-effective truck assembly, becoming one of the first factories in the world to assemble Volvo and Renault trucks together on the same production line.
