The Federation of Gulf Cooperation Council Chambers, in collaboration with the Confederation of Danish Industry and Fisher Scott, is organizing the Gulf-European Networking Event in Dubai next Wednesday under the theme “Facilitating Business and Trade Cooperation between the European Union and the Gulf Cooperation Council Countries.”
The Federation emphasized the importance of these events, which aim to open up broad horizons for building relationships, partnerships, and alliances between the Gulf and European trade, business, and investment sectors, strengthen cooperation among business networks, and make the most of the opportunities and potential available to numerous regional and international institutions and organizations in this field. It noted that the General Secretariat participated in several competitions organized by the European Commission, including programs to strengthen Gulf-European economic relations through joint events, conducting consultations and technical studies on the structuring of small and medium-sized enterprises, and, in particular, supporting negotiations on the free trade agreement between the two sides.
It is worth noting that the joint Gulf-European project brings together the leading private-sector institutions and companies in the European Union and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, numbering an estimated 2.5 million entities, in partnership with the Confederation of Danish Industry, the Federation of GCC Chambers of Commerce, and the European Business Council.
