The Emirate of Al-Qassim Region, represented by the Main Committee for Monitoring State Properties and Removing Encroachments and the region’s encroachment committees, encroachments on land totaling 963,430 square meters during the first three months of 2023, under the direct supervision and oversight of the region’s governor.

The Emirate noted that this action was taken in accordance with the directives of the Governor of Al-Qassim Region, which emphasize that there will be no leniency toward those who encroach upon government lands regardless of who they are, and that statutory penalties must be enforced. It states that the committees continue to carry out their scheduled work in accordance with the procedures and regulations of the State Real Estate Authority and to impose penalties on violators, noting the need for everyone to cooperate with the encroachment committees to protect public property.
