For the first half of this year, Riyad Bank distributes 1.05 billion riyals in dividends to shareholders

Riyad Bank plans to distribute 1,050 million riyals to its shareholders as dividends for the first half of 2015, at a rate of 35 halalas per share, representing 3.5% of the capital, This comes as an extension and continuation of the generous dividend distributions the bank has made in previous years. Shareholders registered in the bank’s shareholder registry as of the close of trading on Monday, July 6, 2015 (corresponding to September 19, 1436 AH), will be eligible to receive the dividends, and the dividends will be paid starting Monday, July 27, 2015, corresponding to October 11, 1436 AH.

In this regard, Rashid Al-Abdulaziz Al-Rashid, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Riyad Bank, that the distribution of these dividends reinforces the bank’s approach to fulfilling the aspirations of its shareholders, continuing to grow returns on their equity, and supporting the bank’s leading position in the sector. It also reinforces the Board of Directors’ strategy, which aims to share the bank’s successes with its shareholders following the recent capital increase through the distribution of one bonus share for every share held, and the bank’s commitment to continuing to distribute attractive returns to Riyad Bank shareholders.

In the same vein, Thalib Ali Al-Shamrani, Senior Executive Vice President, reiterated the bank’s call to certificate-holding shareholders to deposit their certificates into investment portfolios through one of the bank’s branches or through the Securities Depository Center at Tadawul, and that dividends for the first half of 2015 will be deposited into shareholders’ investment accounts linked to their portfolios at local banks.
