King Fahd Airport in Dammam begins construction of private aviation building

The management of King Fahd International Airport in Dammam plans to establish and operate a private aviation building to serve the owners of private planes. The building, which is located north of the Royal Hall, will include a private apron to accommodate dozens of parking spaces for aircraft of various sizes.

The airport administration is expected to conclude a contract for this purpose with the American company «XJet», which is considered one of the largest specialized and globally classified companies in the field of building and operating private aviation buildings, at the airport headquarters in Dammam after Thursday, and the implementation will take (24) months.

On the other hand, the Director General of King Fahd International Airport, Engineer Yousef bin Khalifa Al Dhaheri, explained that the airport administration is in the process of opening several new investment projects during the second half of this year, which will contribute to the quality and diversification of services for airport users.
