On the 93rd National Day
The Kingdom... An Inspiring Experience
Abdulaziz Al-Issa
With exceptional genius and a deep understanding of the progress that has driven the Kingdom’s development, the slogan "We Dream and We Achieve" proved fitting and expressive for the 93rd National Day, a day when all the aspirations that once lingered in people’s minds became a reality, as if challenge, determination, and achievement were the hallmarks of the era.
On the anniversary of the unification of the Kingdom by its founder, King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud, may God have mercy on him, we must sit on the terraces of glorious history and draw inspiration from the lessons and morals of when the nation was reunited under a single banner, we must emulate the determination and patience of this leadership in building the Kingdom; for how did the scattered tribes transform into a solid national unity, as if to confirm the poet’s words:
Spears refuse to break when gathered together, but when separated, they break one by one
With this insightful vision, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has provided us with an inspiring journey of transformation from a nomadic way of life to the modern urban era, grounded in a spatial civilization thousands of years old, This is a book of success whose table of contents outlines the pride of belonging that makes the impossible possible—not merely to achieve a decent life, but to go beyond that to a quality of life that is one of the pillars of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. The chapters of the book detailing the Kingdom’s realized dreams are numerous, encompassing every sector of society without exception.
Take the real estate sector, for example; it has become one of the most distinctive pillars of the economy upon which domestic income is based, and many locals and experts foresee a bright, boundless future for it, due to the attention it has received from official authorities. Thirteen pieces of legislation have been enacted regarding real estate, creating a comprehensive system of regulations and controls. This has prompted industry participants to actively develop their expertise, as there is no room for chance or luck. These regulations were issued during a period characterized by the rule of law and the enforcement of regulations, aimed at preventing confusion and safeguarding rights. A number of regulations have recently been issued, including: The Off-Plan Sales and Leasing Regulation, the Real Estate Contribution Regulation, the Real Estate Brokerage Regulation, andthe Real Estate Registration System, and the Real Estate Unit Classification and Management System, in addition to regulations and controls on real estate advertising, real estate market analysis, real estate platform licensing, and others.
These developments make us proud of the real estate sector’s responsiveness to the pace of regulatory development, affirming its leadership and high standing among sectors.
