The <a style="color: #800000;" href="https://amlak.net.The Saudi Green Building Forum, which kicked off its sessions yesterday evening in Riyadh, estimated the number of green building projects in the Kingdom at 1000 projects, and the Secretary General of the Saudi Green Building Forum, Engineer Faisal Al-Fadl, emphasized that the building sector accounts for more than 20% of final energy consumption and provides significant commercial and economic opportunities.
The new session focused on the importance of the green building sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The new edition of the forum discussed a number of current challenges related to climate change, rising temperatures and environmental pollution in cities, and discussed opportunities to benefit from the concept of green buildings, with the participation of a group of policy makers, practitioners, business organizations and industries in the public and private sectors from the Middle East and various countries, in addition to addressing aspects of sustainable development and measuring the progress made in reducing global temperature rise.
The new edition of the forum focused on a number of current challenges related to climate change, rising temperatures and environmental pollution in cities.
