Management is a science and art and is a human activity based on dealing with human beings, whether that relationship is directly, such as providing financial services or consumer goods to individuals or indirectly, such as providing services and products to companies, it must be interspersed with the practice of human behaviors in one way or another.
According to Wikipedia, business ethics is defined as ”a form of applied ethics in which ethical or moral principles that arise in the business environment are applied to all aspects of business management related to the behavior of individuals and business organizations as a whole."
The Code of Conduct, which defines the ethical rules to be adhered to among colleagues and which also governs the relationship between employees and customers alike, often appears on a company's website as a Code of Conduct or Code of Ethics.
But an important question comes to mind: Are these written and published ethical codes and charters applied in practice in the work environment, whether internal or external to the company and what are the standards of control that must be protected to maintain the ethical environment of the organization.
The ethical standards of business are considered a cornerstone in the success of the enterprise and its continuity in serving the community and its customers. The customer's trust is mainly based on the extent of the company's commitment in applying that ethical charter that it presented to its customers and promised to adhere to it, and therefore this matter must include the quality of products, after-sales services, maintenance and other social activities and events; such as the company's social activities or what is known as social responsibility (CSR) all fall under that Business Code of Ethics which must be reflected on the ground in a tangible way to ensure the success of the company.
